Flash Enhances Monitoring Service & Security
Franklin, Tenn. (April 24, 2016) – Flash Technology, a global leader in obstruction lighting, announces enhanced monitoring service & security for Vanguard® SMART series and FTM 190 monitoring devices. The leading remote monitoring products are now equipped with simple network management protocol version 3 encryption or SNMPv3.
SNMPv3 encryption provides Flash Technology customers with increased security for the monitoring capabilities of their obstruction lighting. It also offers real-time notifications and two-way communication. Finally, SNMPv3 gives Flash Technology customers greater control over the authentication methods used to secure the monitoring devices.

Through SNMPv3, the products are Wifi accessible and provide greater ease of use through any wireless device. The wireless features allow for remote firmware updates and inspections.
