Jordan Military Helipad Lighting
Flash Technology airfield lighting products have met the lighting demands of military bases all over the world. Our products met another challenge in the Jordanian desert. The military client required the supply, installation and commission of four solar-powered LED heliport lighting systems within a one-month timeframe.
Our solution: the A650 helipad lights with our unique solar power array. This option met the client’s need for providing safe helicopter landings supported by a controlled, reliable and portable system without dependency on an external power source.
The project tapped the skills of key distributor W.R. Abdul-Hadi & Co., who were instrumental in successfully meeting the client’s challenging criteria and fast-track timeline. Completed in early May 2012, client has expressed tremendous satisfaction with the new four helipads now in service.
