Flash Technology’s solar-powered obstruction lights for United States clients feature lights that will shine for 7 consecutive nights if no charging occurs during the day, compliant with FAA Engineering Brief No. 76. We also offer a solution for those aviation applications that do not require the FAA minimum 7 days of autonomy, typically for clients outside the US. Solar-powered lighting systems are ETL certified to FAA AC 150/5345-43H, ICAO low intensity types A and B and DGAC standards.
- Vanguard® Medium FTS 370 – For structures between 200′ and 700′ AGL, including dual lighting solutions for FAA E-type towers and white solutions for FAA D-type towers.
- Vanguard Red FTS 371 SMART – For Ao and A1 painted towers under 350′ tall.
- Vanguard Red FTS 371 – For sites outside the United States. This system utilizes a different panel that may not meet the FAA 7-day requirement.
