Vanguard Medium offers numerous monitoring and control options and is one of the most versatile lighting systems on the market. Designed for ease of installation, the Vanguard Medium FTS 370d LED tower lighting system is suitable for structures between 200′ and 700′ AGL. The system can be configured to meet requirements for both D and E- type structures:
- FAA D-type towers – white L-865 or catenary L-885
- FAA E-type towers – dual (red and white) FAA L-864/L-865 or catenary L-866/L-885
The FTS 370 solar-powered tower package includes everything needed for an FAA-approved solar obstruction lighting system. The lighting system complies with FAA AC 70/7460-1K and 1L and is ETL certified to FAA AC 150/5345-43J. Custom-sized solar power supplies provide power when grid power is unavailable. Systems are sized based on load and geographical location, which dictates solar irradiation. The system will power the lights with at least 7 days of autonomy per FAA Engineering Brief No. 76, meaning the system can function at least 7 days in between charges.
